I now have 4 pair of these shorts and they are the only to have. All these complaints about the belt loops are obviously from non-military people. Tactical is the key word here folks. No standard loops because why? You don't want your pant loops snagging on everything you pass by upright, crouching or on your belly in stealth mode. Cargo pockets are flat to leg for the same reason and fast dry and water resistant for obvious reasons. And the whining about the length, you have several options when ordering. Pay attention and get the right ones first time. One size fits all doesn't apply. None if mine have bleached out after multiple washes. You folks complaining about that need to watch out for who is laundering them and what is going in as far as additives beyong simple laundry detergent. They are made of colorfast material for goodness sake. I have owned many, many standard cotton cargo shorts and these are far superior to any hands down. Don't listen to the bitchin' and buy them.

I’ve been wearing these short for a few years now. I highly recommend them. Great customer service. Shorts are comfortable, well made, and look great.

Great material, sizes run a little tight, had to go next size up….. but very comfortable, doubles as a bathing suit w pockets, which is what I was looking for!
